Vishay's New SMD MLCC can be used for high-frequency RF applications

Abstract: Vishay Introduces New SMD can be used for high-frequency RF applications MLCC

Pennsylvania、MALVERN

— May 29, 2014 - Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc (NYSE ticker symbol: VSH) today announced that its QUAD HIFREQ series of high power surface mount multilayer ceramic chip capacitors (MLCC) to add a new dimension of quad 2525 devices. QUAD HIFREQ 2525 appearance of the device is for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) coils and generators, RF instrumentation, telecom base stations, lasers and military communications systems in the high-frequency RF applications designed, with high Q value (at 10MHz conditions under more than 4000,1 pF), as low as 0.018 ultra-low ESR, DC voltage up to 3600V.

Vishay Vitramon devices released today based on extremely stable ceramic dielectrics with high series resonant frequency (SRF) and parallel resonant frequency (PRF), in the UHF and microwave RF power amplifiers, filters and impedance matching networks, timing circuits, mixed critical applications, such as the frequency and scope to provide a stable performance.

QUAD HIFREQ 2525 Device operating voltage of 300V ~ 3600V, capacity of 1.0pF ~ 2700pF. Devices with strict tolerance ± 0.1pF, and every 10 years the aging rate of 0%, operating temperature range of -55 ℃ ~ +125 ℃.

QUAD HIFREQ 2525 capacitor using noble metal (NME) technology and wet manufacturing process, providing RoHS compliant gate termination and nickel matte tin plate for reflow (code "X"), as well as leaded (minimum content 4%) of the termination coating (code "L"). Halogen devices meet Vishay Green standards.
